Battle of Wits...
Just came back from watching the movie ALONE. Haha... Sounds pathetic yes i know. But can't be helped i suppose? I really should stop succumbing to pressure and pleasure... just wait it out ya? Maybe just maybe someday I'll get to watch movies with my princess?
Anyway. Good show. Really good. Take away from the movie is a line that went something like: "You (the Mo-family) advocate universal love because you don't know how to choose who to love..." Heh. Sad that when Ge Li (Andy Lau) finally decided to face love, the girl dies just seconds before he finds her. Sigh. Why?
Right vs Wrong. A matter of perspective? Perhaps. Is there a universal standard? Well, with my limited understanding as a Christian, i would say that there isn't a fixed line-by-line rule on what is right and what is wrong. But there is a guideline that our Lord had taught us from his short life on earth. Once you know Him and understand what He tried to show us with His life, you would know too... intinctively actually. Whether you choose to heed it or not is another matter of course.
Don't know what i'm talking about? Go watch the movie AND read the Bible haha...

Ok some updates.
1) Cassie is back. No i'm not meeting her every single day. And no i haven't went clubbing with her at all. She DOES have a bf after all and i'm trying to change the type of activities we engage in. Still... managed to spend quite abit -..-
2) I TOTALLY overspent this month. Again. Sigh. My bonus is ALL going into repaying my credit card debts. LONG way to go man. Really... one overseas trip a year is more than enough. And no more heroic acts of chivalry!
3) Blew $700 on a new pair of Oakleys + Transition lenses. Hey, this current pair has been with me for almost 5 years ok? I think the cost's justified ya? Plus the new pair's made of Titanium so MAYBE it won't get HIT out of shape by SOME people this time round...
4) Went Sentosa on Sat for my unit's Family day. Felt so FAT that i didn't dare remove my top to tan. Resulting in a tanned face, neck and arms ONLY. Feels so shitty when i look in the mirror. SO i decided to embark on my own slimming program! Bought some Fat burning lotion which REALLY burns lol... Considering getting Xando slimming pills to try out too hahaha... I'm crazy.
5) My iPod Shuffle (i named it the jPod on my comp!) rocks! No wonder its being sold out everywhere! Really, if you use it with iTunes the possibilities are almost unlimited. I mean, WHY do you want to buy a 80gb mp3 player that duplicates whatever songs you have on your harddisk, bring it out, yet only manage to listen to less than 1gb of songs? For me i created 4 playlists: Christian, Chinese, English and Japanese. So if i feel like listening to Jap songs today, i'll make iTunes shuffle 1gb worth of songs from my Jap playlist into my Shuffle. Or if i have no preference, just shuffle a rojak mix of songs! OR i can just drag 1gb worth of songs myself into the Shuffle. ^ ^ Ok Apple pay up for the advertising ya?
Christmas' coming round the corner! Tell me what you want for Christmas, i MIGHT consider it hahaha...
