HATE being sick

In case you've been wondering where i've gone running off to again, i didn't. Can't even i had wanted to. Been bed ridden for the past week with a dreadful throat infection that's been giving me recurring high fevers, resulting in one visit to the A&E Dept of NUH and TWO bloodtests for fear of dengue infection. -..-

On the bright side i managed to miss the outfield exercise haha... but at the expense of my poor assistants who are both new to the job and had to fumble their way through with some remote help from me at home...

Oh but i've still got a bad sore throat and i still have some difficulty drinking water, although its no where as bad as before where i had to hold back tears with each gulp... felt like 2 knives cutting down the insides of my throat whenever i swallowed back then >..< *** Update: I managed to attend my promotion ceremony yesterday at MINDEF. Oh for the uninformed, i'm gonna be promoted :) Yes yes i only just got upgraded this Feb, so what? :p Anyway the official promotion's next Feb so its still some way off. Amazing how i got my promotion straight after an upgrade though. ^ ^

During the ceremony, for some reason i started reminiscing the good old days when i was a trainee. Hmmm.... Very strange. Time certainly has flown right by and 30's staring down at me a couple of steps away now. Crazy when you think about it. Me? THIRTY? Gosh... and i'm still in the "i'm 18" mode. -..-

Ok thats all for updates. Hah. No mood laaaaaaa... i AM still sick afterall :D
