OS Migration
Guess what? I've just migrated over to UBUNTU ^ ^ Goodbye Windows! Err... Well, temporarily anyway... What i did was actually create a 20gb partition on my hard-drive and install Ubuntu on it to trial it. I'm definitely hooked hehe...
Ubuntu allows you to create different workspaces to have different programs/windows open on them at one time, much like what OSX has now. So i can be playing games on one workspace while "doing my work" on the other. Anytime i need to, i can just switch over the entire screen to show me typing on Words, surfing the net researching... etc... Cool huh?
Check out this screenshot of my ACTUAL desktop while switching workspaces... Of course you can make the switch instantaneous, but i wanted to show off :p
And the best part is, everything's customisable. I can use any picture i want, have any menus i want... I can even make the whole OS look and function like Vista or OSX if i wanted to. And its FAST. Even surfing the web's ALOT faster.
The downside? No real support for Windows games >..<>
