iPhone @ SG Update

For those of you considering getting the iPhone off Ebay (S$700-900) or Lucky Plaza (S$900), think again!

No not cos the iPhone MIGHT come to SG in 2008. But because France is getting one real soon ^ ^
So what does something in France have anything to do with SG? BECAUSE France will be getting UNLOCKED iPhones from APPLE /ORANGE (Yes... Orange... the wireless provider in France... Apples and Oranges... haha...).

What this means is that you no longer need to take the risk of jailbreaking your iPhones in order to unlock them (unless what you want is to allow 3rd party apps to be installed). In other words, CHEAPER and SAFER (less liklihood of your iPhone bricking when it updates its firmware) iPhones in the near future! (4th quarter 2007~)

iPod Touch!

Ordered my iPod Touch on Sunday night, received it 2 days later! Woot! Might just be the first one to have one in Singapore ^ ^ The shops in Orchard weren't carrying the item yet on Sunday. Kekeke...

Wanted to blog about this like last week, but really couldn't find the time hehe... Anyway, i've just *hacked* my iPod Touch to enable applications from iPhone to run on it... Such as Maps (Google maps), Mail, Notes, Weather, Calendar (editable)... I'm even able to install 3rd party apps on it now. Have got a IM app installed, as well as some games :D Hmmm... I could start a business doing this for people :p
